| YARDLEY ST EDBURGHA'S, BIRMINGHAM was built in the thirteenth century and is dedicated to Edburgha, granddaughter of King Alfred. The church tower and spire were added in 1461. The central section of the spire was restored in 1898. The roof of the church above the nave was replaced in 1926.
The Tudor doorway on the north aisle has Tudor roses and a pomegranate in its' surrounds, commemorating the marriage of Prince Arthur, Prince of Wales, to Catherine of Aragon in 1501.
