| ALL SAINTS MOXLEY the existing building is a traditional church, which was built in 1851 making it, possibly, the oldest building in the parish. However its' records begin in 1837 so another church was functioning here before then. This building was refurbished in 2006 and 2007.
Moxley Wesleyan Methodist Chapel has records beginning in 1844.
Daniel Burgum was a hammerman and, with his wife Matilda was living at Cock Heath, close to Moxley. Four of their nine children were baptised at Moxley All Saints and two were buried there as you will see from the list below.
