HORTON KIRBY ST MARY THE VIRGIN lies about four miles from Dartford, in Kent. It dates back, in part, to about the late 1100's, although a church was recorded as being here in the 1086 Domesday Survey. The nave was rebuilt early 1300's and the central crossing tower was rebuilt in 1816. The chancel and porch were halved in length in 1821.
The list below shows the baptisms, marriages and burials that took place at Horton Kirby, Kent. Note the day that Albert and John were baptised. It was on the opening day of the second chapel in January 1860.
