KIDDERMINSTER ST MARY'S was built of dark red standstone in the Perpendicular stylein the 15th and 16th centuries, although the list of clergy shows there was a church operating from here from at least the 12th century. The south-west tower is 15th century and has a peal of 12 bells. A south aisle was added in 1847 and the tower was refaced between 1893 and 1895. |
