Victoria Park Cemetery, off Roman Road, Bethnal Green, but was never consecrated. It covered 11 acres. It later also known as Meath Gardens. It was formed as a private company in 1845, but went bankrupt 8 years later in 1853. In 1856 burials were taking place at 130 every Sunday! The cemetery was closed in 1876 and later, in 1885, it became a recreational ground.
