| HYDE ST THOMAS was built in 1868 at a cost of £3,000. It has an unusual design with the roof pitch having a double pitch for no apparent reason. The church has brick buttress, filled with stone, so do the window surrounds, whereas normally they would be stone, with brick infilling.
