Kimi church
KIMBERWORTH ST THOMAS CHURCH in Rotherham was built in the Early English architectural style, which was first used in medieval times. Land for the parish church was donated in 1837, but it was not until 1841 that the foundation stone was laid. In 1843 it was consecrated and dedicated to St Thomas the Apostle. He is depicted in the large stained-glass east window. The building was originally a sqaure with four windows on each side of the nave and the tower was added in 1860, when the nave was lengthened. The chancel was added in 1865.
