Steubenville, Ohio - Edwin O. Burgham, retired chairman of the board of the National Steel Corp. and a pioneer in tin-plate manufacture, died yesterday at Ohio Valley Hospital here.
Mr Burgham, 80, of 415 Bellview Blvd, here, was retired presient of the Weirton Steel Division of the National Steel Corp.
He was a member of American Iron and Steel Institute; Association of Iron and Steel Engineers; Steubenville Rotary Club, Duquesne Club of Pittsburg and Westminster Presbyterian Church, Steubenville.
He is survived by his wife, Martha, a son Kenneth M. Hunt of Steubenville; three sisters, Mrs H.E. Davison of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Mrs G.G. Gilfsin and Mrs Florence Burgham, both of Pasadena, California, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 am Thursday at McClave Funeral Home, 611 N. Fourth St, Steubenville. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm tomorrow. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Steubenville.

Steubenville, Ohio - Edwin O. Burgham, 80, who rose from engineer to board chairman of Weirton Steel Division of the National Steel Corp., died in hospital here Monday. He joined Weirton Steel as an enginner in 1923. He was named president in 1955 and chairman of the board of directors three years later.

Steubenville, Ohio - Edwin O. Burgham, board chairman of Nationa Steel Corporation, Weirton, West Virginia, died of an apparent heart attack. he was 80. The Steubenville resident joined the steel company in 1923 and worked uo to chairman in 1958. Services will be held here Thursday. (Marysville Journal-Tribune, Marysville, Ohio).
