Mary Lois Burgum (Aug 24, 1929 - Jan 10, 1977)

Mary L. Burgum, Rites Scheduled - Mary Lois Burgum, 47, of 1423 N. 20th St, Bismarck, died this Monday at Bismarck Hospital. Services are scheduled for 2pm Thursday at McCabe United Methodist Church here.

The daughter of former Noth Dakota Attorney General, Leslie R. Burgum, she was born Aug 24, 1929, in Bismarck, and grew up in La Moure, Larimore, Jamestown, Fargo and Bismarck. where her father was pastor of Methodist churches. She moved to Bismarck in 1954 and was employed by the North Dakota State Board of Nursing and then was secretary for Dr. Alex Burr until 1962 when she became secretary to the manager of Basin Electric Power Cooperative.

Miss Burgum leaves her parents, the Rev and Mrs Leslie R. Burgum, Bismarck, and a brother, Thomas, Reston, Virginia.
