
James was born May 17th, 1930, in Nanticoke, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States, a son of Morris and Doris Webb Burgham. He had two brothers Donald William Burgham and Douglas Edwin Burgham.
He graduated North High School in 1948 and completed an apprenticeship program, becoming a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 33 for 64 years. He had a passionfor antique cars and was a member of the model A car club.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal.
James married Mary Louise Milisky on November 20th 1955. She passed away September 14th 2017. He was also preceded in death by his parents Morris and Doris, and his brother Donald.
James is survived by one daughter, Linda D. (married Tom Stefanish) of Hermitage; two sons, Jim Burgham (married Shirley A. Mathews) of Poland and Tom Burgham (married Katie Kiser) of Willowick, Ohio; one grandchild, Tyler Burgham; one brother, Doug Burgham (married to Rebecca Grohler) of Leesburg, Fla.; and sister-in-law, Louise Burgham.
A memorial service took place at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, 270 North Main Street, where Dr. Paul Anderson officiated.
