James Preston Burgham (Sep 25, 1893 - Jul 03, 1968)

Lisbon - Services will be held at 1.30pm Saturday in Henry Funeral Home for James P. Burgham, of 317 Maple St, Lisbon, Ohio, USA. He died at 10 pm Wednesday at home after a years illness. He was born here Sept 25, 1893, a son of Charles and Alice Figley Burgham, and lived here all his life.

Mr Burgham was a retired potter. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. His first wife, Kathryn Williams Burgham, died in January 1933.

He leaves his widow, Anna McCormack Todd Burgham, whom he married Dec 31, 1931; two daughters, Mrs Betty Crosser of Lisbon and Mrs Alice Clauser of Minerva; a son Robert Burgham, of Milton, Florida; seven sisters, Mrs Minnie Brain, Mrs Bertha McQuistion and Mrs Thelma Mathey, all of Washingtonville; Mrs Nana Hulton of Eat palestine, Mrs Mildred Pennell of Lisbon, Mrs Margaret Yoder Canton and Mrs Bessie Jugenheimer of Elkton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Severn sisters are deceased.

The Rev. Paul T. Gerrard of the First presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Lisbon cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
