Betsy Burgham (Jan 14, 1926 - Nov 27, 1997)

Betsy Burgham Rich of Paradise Valley, Arizona, died on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 27, 1997 after a brief illness.

Betsy was born in Colorada Springs, Colorado on Jan 14, 1926. Betsy moved to Paradise Valley in 1964 with her husband, Hal Rich and her children. Betsy was an active homemaker and community volunteer. Her most notable involements included, Board of Directors, San pablo Home for Youth; President, Las Madrinas de San Pablo (godmothers of auxiliary for the boys); Scottsdale Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; Friends of the Foundation for Senior Living; Scottsdale Girls Club Auxiliary; Bailiff for Town of Paridise Valley; Member of diocesan council of the Episcopal Church; Member of LISA; member of St Barnabas Church; member of the University of Colorado Alumni Association active in the Republican party.

Betsy is survived by three sons, William B. Freeman, Joe freeman and Peter F. Rich; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial service will be held in Paradise Valley, AZ at St barnabas on the Desert Church on December 22, 1997 at 4.00pm.
