Fetter Hill is on the road between Parkend and Coleford, not far from Milkwall. The brickworks was established at Fetter Hill in 1858 and pottery was also produced there. E. R. Payne establish stoneworks at both Parkend and Point Quarry, Fetter Hill in 1870. There were also ironworks in the area.
