Allen Burgum - Bank Book. - This old bankbook in the name of Mr Allen Burgum dates from 1875 to 1877. The cover is made of vellum and there is a metal clip to keep it closed. The book an account book for the Sheffield and Rotherham Banking Company in England. The records show an Allen Burgum marrying Sarah Middleton at Rotherham in 1863.(This document, now owned by the BURGUM FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY, was found in Australia).
